I'm So Thankful

I am so thankful for so many things!! I have a fabulous husband, a great family, awesome friends, a good job, and a baby on the way. How much more could I really ask for?

On a Baby update, my hormone results last week were really good and my Dr. thinks I might be farther along than originally thought. The numbers are supposed to at least double in 2 days, and mine more than tripled!! So, the ultrasound that was scheduled for Friday was moved up to Wednesday! Yay!! That is when we will hopefully hear the heart beat. I am so excited!

Keith is going to be such a wonderful daddy! And we are going to have a fabulous family. Even though this wasn't written into the plan, we are cannot wait to be parents. This kid is going to have so many extended Aunts and Uncles it is not even going to be funny. This baby will be loved immensely, and that is what is important.

Baby Naylors First Dr's Appt

A lovely aspect of this whole pregnancy thing for me, seems to be insomnia. Every single night I am up in the middle of the night and find it impossible to go back to sleep... and then of course I am ridiculously tired for the remainder of the day. I guess it is preparation for when the little one comes and keeps me up all night.

Well, the first Dr. appt was pretty uneventful. They confirmed what we knew to be true, that I am in fact pregnant and they did an ultrasound to try and establish how far along I am. As far as they can tell, I am very very early on, possibly only a couple of weeks. To try and narrow it down even further, I had to have my blood drawn to see if they could tell by my hormone levels. So for now, no due date for baby Naylor just yet. We are thinking probably sometime in January of 2008. We have our next appointment next Friday, so hopefully we will learn more then.

Everyone is really excited about Keith and I having a baby. Keith is already planning how he is going to do the nursery and such, and we have discussed names...for now we like Rylen Keith if its a boy and Kyli Marie if its a girl.

I can't wait until the next appointment to find out more information!!

We're Pregnant

Well, much to our surprise we found out last night that we are pregnant!!

My period has been absent for several months, and so we decided to go to the store and get a pregnancy test. Despite being on Birth control, the Test Came back Positive. As did the second, and the third test I took! To say the least we were incredibly surprised!

At this point, I am unsure how far along...but we are thinking that it can't be more than a month. We have such a wide range of emotions from being super excited to being a little scared!!
