Baby Gym's

This week Keith, the girls and I tried out 2 separate Baby Gyms that have developmental programs. Yesterday we went to Gymboree. At first the girls were kind of overwhelmed by all the kids and play equipment, but after a little while they warmed up to it and enjoyed it. The kids have a chance to play, and sing songs. One of the big down falls to Gymboree is that is does not accommodate parents of twins. They have a 1 to 1 parent/child ratio. That would make things kind of difficult with Keith's work schedule. Today we went to My Gym, and not only is it 2 minutes from our house, but we like it a lot more! There were 3 awesome instructors (rather than 1 at Gymboree), it was a lot more structured, they offer a Twin discount, and if need be I can take them by myself!! I think this is the one we are going to go with. The girls had to so much fun!! They had a ball pit and all kinds of fun toys and equipment to play with. They also do Separation time where the parents leave the room for a few minutes so the kids can become accustomed to not always being with Mommy and Daddy. Kaylyn was quite the little ham at Today's class, she was laughing and "talking" the entire time, I think she is going to be our future class clown!

This weekend we are heading down to Grandma and Grandpa's to visit! Tomorrow Keith and I are going to go to the Del Mar races with our friend Kristin for her Birthday. G&G will be babysitting the girls. It will be nice to have an afternoon off and enjoy a little fun in the sun.

The girls can now pull themselves all the way up. Although they don't do it all the time just yet, and it does require quite a bit of work and concentration at this point (they will usually do it if they see something high that they want!!), its one more milestone that they have tackled...

I hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!!
